＜概 要＞
We study strategy-proof probabilistic mechanisms in a binary public decision model with monetary transfers. We mainly focus on the random chair pivotal mechanism (Green and Laffont 1979; Faltings 2005), which is a probabilistic variant of the pivotal mechanism. We show that the random chair pivotal mechanism is second-best efficient and the expected welfare loss of the random chair pivotal mechanism converges to zero as the number of agents increases.
