タイトル：
『The enigma of money and interest』

概要：
Economists mostly approach money as an economic technology. A core question is the role of the　interest rate. The lecture presents a new view on money, building on the philosophy of money　elaborated by the German sociologist Georg Simmel and on the theory of interest proposed by Silvio Gesell. In this perspective, designing the monetary and financial system of the future is a central task in creating a sustainable human civilization.
The lecture extends on the book ‘Foundations of Economic Evolution: A Treatise on the Natural Philosophy of Economics’ (Edward Elgar publishers, 2013).

タイトル：
『Poverty Alleviation in Ethnic Area of China: Evidence and Assessment』

概要：
China has achieved an amazing progress in poverty alleviation, especially in the ethnic area. By strong government support system and huge investment on education and infrastructure, people in ethnic area can access market more easily. Meanwhile new IT technologies accelerate this progress in many ways. But there are still some questions needed to reconsider: the limitation of the top-down style policy making system, the cost and efficiency of ongoing system, and the complicated relationship between culture diversity and economic development . We take the Pairing Assistant Plan as an example, analysis its merits and shortcomings.
